The biggest achievement of YOUNG ENERGETIC SOCIETY is that it has been started by a small group of 12 students of Asian School Of Media studies .Currently there are more than 500 members out of which 200 members are working actively.We speak through our work and people from various places join our organization.
YES began the work from 2 slums and 60 children , today YES is extremely proud to have 9 slums and over 350 children and has taken it as a serious responsibility. People have started believing in us .The growth of YES speak the whole story.
We began from an open ground in sadarpur village,where we used to teach these children. In November, we shifted to the school where these students , like others , have rooms with benches and desks. Children are discouraged from begging , taking drugs and are taught basic manners along with the primary education being given to them . It is an achievement to see many children going to school regularly who could be seen begging in market places till only a year back.
Without any kind of support from the big wigs we collected our pocket money and started YES since then there is no looking back and till now we collect our pocket money as a membership fees of Rs.100 every month .Without any donation or charity we are successfully running our organization.
Regular educational trips are organized to zoo and museum and we also promote extra curricular activities by organizing stage performances from time to time trying to bring out the hidden talent form inside these budding performers and to also help them gain confiedence.
A debate competition was held on various issues related to the discrimination against women in the society and the 1st price was won by a member of YES.
A silent protest and candle light vigil was also organized on the occasion of children’s day at jantar mantar by members of YES to protest all kind of evils happening against poor children.This protest was witnessed and supported by many other N.G.O’S LIKE BACHPAN BACHAO ANDOLAN , ALL INDIA HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISION , OPEN FORUM , ASMS AND AAFT , AMITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL , DELHI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND MANY OTHER UNIVERSITIES TAKEN PART IN IT.

- We all are aware of the Indian societal structure where in a middle class family the expectation from a child is to grow into a career oriented, working class employed man/women. Coming from such families, the members of YES has achieved the support of their family after the span of 3 yrs of convincing and going through struggle.
- Greatest achievement is to being able to convince our parents to look at our dreams with our vision and understand our feeling for YES. Except YES as our family and support & motivate us for the social cause.

- Collaborated with Sikkim government to construct a residential school of a capacity of 25,000 students, where the children of privileged and underprivileged will study together;.
